threaten them or somethin. they tried to pull a fast one on you and they did.

 

I almost made the same mistake at the first shop I went to, I kept asking questions and realized the guy did'nt even know there were different 40 series and after I waited and called around I found out he was a rip off to boot. I would call and complain and see if they'll help you out at all, if not PM me I know a great exhaust guy. Good Luck. Also if you want a real deep, loud growl I think the original 40 is the ticket. Never heard the super 40 in person but, just got a 44 put on and it sounds good and it's pretty loud.

 

Well i called them up and they said they will swap out a different muffler for free.. But its the Vortex cherry bom si/do. this guy who owns it i think has this on his dodge and its a lot more throaty deeper sound than the flowmaster. So next month when they get them in im going to have tips done and the new muffler.

i personally wouldnt go cherry bomb. it will be like havin the delta series on still

 

no no its a muffler, si/do. not like that type of thing that is long and skinny... it looks like a flowmaster muffler but its a vortex cherry bom muffler.

 

if you google it then click images you should see it. If you go to cherrybom.com then vortex mufflers you can see it. click on the video thing and it shows you how the flow is.

 

yeah i hear ya, but in my opinion flowmaster is louder and meaner. i was lookin into replacin the flowmaster with a cherry bomb and i couldnt bring my self to get rid of the super 40

 

i would get the super 40 but they will charge me because they have to specially order it. I rather get a free muffler, see how i like it. this has less stuff inside the muffler too so it could be louder, But il lsee by the first of februrary when i get tips put on and the new muffler.

 

i forgot to say, that he would also swap the original 40 series in for free too. i think tommorow im going to ask him to do that instead.

 

well does anyone have any information on this muffler??/ should i give it a try??
