Do they cause any clearance issues with the front of the doors or the tires.

I have the xenons. I paid $350, and they came primed and painted the color of my truck. They were a really annoying expense, BUT, you can see how good it ties the vehicle in, and keeps the mud off the doors!

they do over lap the front door a little ( i thought this mite cause a problem) but since the doors open inward , no problems with the clearance , door and tires

alright, cool. I woulnd't want flares that stuck out any further than that. That'd be ugly. 2" will save the paint a bit though.

My tires are 11" wide and they're about even with the fendersnow so that sounds about right.

I know 14.5 is wide, and wide floats besides a 36x12.5 might look kind of skinny don't you think?

The wide is different with brands, tire styles and rims. I'm running 10" wide rims and the 37X13.5 claw tires are no wider than the 35X12.5 MTX's I had on there. The narrower the rim the less it will bulge out. My tires have always stuck out, but my area is not a$$ holes about it. I had people in PA ask about it since they are up there.

The flares would help with clean up for sure. The only downside I can see is that itmight allow them to collect rust causing stuffbehind them.

I'm really not too worried about them sticking out past the sides. The cops around here wouldn't bother me for sucha foolish thing and if they did whoop-de-do give me my ticket, I'll pay it.
But cops aren't big for harassing people with nice vehicles in my town.
