Default Unknown Origin of Squeak

I hear a squeak when my truck is in motion. It sounds like it is coming from the front (when I stick my head out the window). It isn't the brakes I check those and the sound doesn't increase or decrease when I stop. No squeak when stopped, just when in motion. I am guessing maybe something on the front axle but not sure. It is tough for me to get under the truck when it is in motion. It isn't very loud but you can diffidently hear it. Any ideas of what it could be?

I'm getting a sqeuak from mine, it sounds like they same thing as you, but I'm 2wd, Im thinking mine might be a wheel bearing that started sqeuaking after driving through floodwater.

Well it defidently could be the wheel bearings. I just recently noticed it and I'm sure somewhere I ran through some water puddles in the 2 weeks that we have had rain. I'll need to find out if it is coming from both sides or just the one. Hope changing those isn't too involved.

Mine was driving me nuts until I went crazy with a can of white lithium grease. I think it was the shift lever on the tranny. If it don't work for you...your only out a couple of bucks!

I'll look into all of them. Starting with the cheapest and working from there. Thanks for all the advice.

Sometimes i wish i could strap myself to the front end of the truck, while someone else drives it. To find all the weird noises mine makes sometimes. I replaced all the stuff that was really wore out, but im tired of throwin money into that crappy coil over design

I'm just hoping that the queak that I hear is coming just from the left side and not from the way under where it could be something more. I hope it resides in the tire/wheel area. Fingers crossed while I hope I can get to it sometime this weekend.
