Super 40 vs Original 40
padodge, you think by adding a high flow cat or no cat with long tips will change the sound any?? if it does maybe i can save some money. and then if it doesnt sound like i want it, i can swap out a different muffler. Remember, i have 160,000 miles on the original cat. I wouldnt be surprised if that was the problem.

Ok, here you go. Not the best quality in the world, but you get the idea. My exhaust entails Edelbrock ceramic shorty headers with 1-5/8" primaries. That goes to the stock y-pipe, then into a Magnaflow highflow cat. From there it is 3" single out through a Flowmaster Super 40. Also, I have 1.7 rockers, so that gives it somewhat of a cam sound, or so i've been told. I'm so used to it now, I can't really tell anymore.
