I still have the setup that I had in my old camaro with the blaster 2. Can I put that into my 1996 5.2? I have a hypertech coil in it already, but it would be cool to have the module in it too.

So you want to run the 6al with the blaster coil ?? or just the coil ?? either way you can do it..

 

The whole thing, how did you do it? If you could help it would be much appreciated

 

I actually just bought the hypertech coil today and haven't installed it. The blaster didn't look like it could be compatible. I am also thinking of a throttle body upgrade, spacer,and the fitch fuel catalyst.

BTW, how is your tranny holding up. Mine was replaced at 72,000 and its at 143,000 right now...i am getting worried.

 

you gotta cut the stock ignition , your grean/orange wire hooks up to the red wire on the box 6al , white wire from the box hooks up to the black/grey on your ignition , from the box to the coil , orange connects to orange/green , black connects to black and grey

Knock on wood ..trans is doing ok at 129 grand...

The connector that goes to the stock coil made me think it wouldn't be compatible.

This how i have mine set up using it off the box , i can either hook it up to the ss blaster or the stock replacement blaster coil.. give me 15 min.. ill take a pick of the stock replacemnet blaster..

 

I don't think i can use my blaster 2 coil (GM) but i have the hypertech coil, so that should do the trick.All hi perf coils shouldhave aroundthe same voltage curve.
