Squishy..., ...I tried PM'ing this, but it came back, ...hopefully you'll see this.

Squishy,
...Question on the 20" wheels (you may recall I was asking about these on the board for my '97).
I did locate a set of 20" polished,... and purchased 285/50-20 tires (thanks for your input on that). Tires are mounted to rims, ...not yet on truck (when the weather gets better), ...but I did set them on to see what they look like.
My Dodge is a '97 (Sport 4x4 club-cab)
Do the tires 'stick out' (ie. offset) from your truck's fenders? (they don't appear to in the photo of your sig)
The backs do a bit on mine, ...but the fronts seem a tad more. Perspective, ...if you look at the truck straight on from the front, ...the fronts stick out, ...maybe an inch. Backs are about lined up with the side lip on the bed.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Congrats on the purchase of your wheels! The rear wheels are pretty much even with the fender and the fronts do stick out just a tad. I think that it is because the front end narrows a little. Since you havea 4x4 and mine is 2 wheel drive there might be a slight difference in the widths of things in the front. Just a guess though. I can't remember what they looked like on my 4x4. Post some pics of your rig when you get them on.

Thanks man! I really appreciate it! I hope to do some more stuff to it after I get through saving money to get married. I installed a billet grill the other day. It looks pretty good.

Does anyone know where to find a set of the newest style 20's? (07-09) I have been up and down ebay and the local trader magazines but I refuse to pay 750 or more for a set... I know I probably wont find a set for cheap but it never hurts to ask....

...Thanks again for the reply(s).
Indeed Squishy's truck is VERY clean (that lowered look adds to it).
As a few mentioned, ...I was thinking the difference may be the 4x4 vs. 2WD.
Once I get these mounted(probably in a few weeks), ...I'll definitely post some pics. From your description, ...there might not be as much a difference as I'm thinking.

I'm also thinking about replacing the shocks (most likely with Bilsteins)while I've got the truck up on the lift. ...'spring cleaning' so to speak, ...I don't plan on selling this truck, ...so I may as well keep up on it.

Silver1500,
I got my 20" polished on Ebay,an extremely super clean set ($500). Keep looking, you will find them. After I got mine, ...there was a FULL set Buy-It-Now for $250, ...In PA (they sold quick). The chrome-clad tended to run a little cheaper overall.
Also, ...consider purchasing bare rims (no tires), ...and then purchase new tires sized for what you want. I also found a set of NEW 285/50-20's (following what Squishy did, ...keeps the overall diameter the same), ...shipped for $495.

Thanks,
Kevin
