Default RE: Anyone looking for a locker?

Well ive decided... I am getting rid of this thing. I absoulutely cannot stand it.

I cant stand the CLUNK I get when I let off the gas, I cannot stand it locking up around corners, cant stand the "un-smoothness" of its locking... not one thing I like about it.

Im going to have to keep it in for alittle while, becuase the traction aspect of it is better than the open diff... and its winter and I really want the added traction. I dont have the money this second to dump into an LSD.

Im sticking with a normal LSD and im not going to try this detroit trutrac thingy because Its "different" like this whole powertrax junk is and I dont want to end up with more scrap metal.

Some people can get used to this thing, but not me...

Does anyone know where I can get an auburn lsd for the cheapest? ive looked around but they all are around the upper end of 400 bucks.

And im sure noone does, but if someone does want this locker of mine ill sell it to you for cheap, just to get rid of it... I havent abused this one AT ALL... there is nothing wrong with it, and it works like its designed too... just doesnt work good enough for me.

The way im looking at it is, offroad if I get to a spot where one tire only touches, and I get stuck... ill just back up and go faster to get more momentum... thats waht I had to do with the open diff.. and I KNOW lsd's do about 18.75 times better than open diffs do offroad so either way its better... might not perform as well as the locker but this locker would have to give me insane offroad performace for it to be worth it too me... Ill probably just sell it on ebay.
