I'll admit it.I bought one of those chips. Its just a resistor inside the plastic that changes the signal a little bit. No,you wont get 35 hp from it.They do make a little difference though.I used it before I got my hypertech.

I tried one out that claimed it wasn't a resistor. It was a little 2 inch by 2 inch or so box that I was supposed to wire up to my intake sensor. It made no difference on my pickup, or at least none I could feel. It definitely didn't help with my MPG.

Now the Hypertech, THAT you can feel. Someday I will save up and get one.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

My little box was more legit looking than that but... yeah, still, it was a dumb idea. Other Ram owners had posted in the guy's feedback that it worked, so I thought what the heck, I'll try it out.

Edit: I should have saved the $$$ towards dual exhaust.

They are a waste of money. Just a way to make a quick buck off someone. I would take them to court for false advertisement. Then take that money and get a Hypertech and a true dual exhaust.

Don't waste your money, your in for a disappoint....Same for superchips.....B&G or custom flashes is when you actually notice a difference.

And that resistor is just for gullable people as others have said..

First link says for ram 3500's, with a cummins mega cab in the picture. Then says it extends the life of your spark plugs. Nuff said.
