Default OIL CONSUMPTION: Bad Intake Manifold Plenum

This has been a recurrent problem on my Dodge RAM 1500 truck. As I write this, Jack Carroll's Lynnwood Dodge in Lynnwood, WA is repairing this problem for $800. They or Chrysler paid the first time because it was just over the warranty period. 45kmiles later, same problem. Dodge Customer Service refuses to acknowledge that there is a design flaw. If your truck is consuming oil, and there is no oil on the floor, good chance that it is leaking into the manifold. I went through 4 quarts in two months. Engine may also have a spark/knock. Refere to technical service bulletin 09-05-00. You can access at the following web address..
