I have a 5.5" the front but the rear i dont have because the guy didnt find it
So what do you think i should do for the rear? Add-a-leaf... blocks...?

i run blocks in the back but only 2 inches.. i would go with add-a-leaf unless you dont wheel that much then you could prob get away with blocks.

 

Well its already got the 2" blocks in the rear obv.
So are you saying to stack another 2" block on it. If sooo i would never stack
So what if i just got the 4" blocks like the 2500s and do an add-a-leaf after that?

 

here is a cheater way to do it...you get these springs that go over your shocks...you follow the directions as far as mounting them goes...and you raise your vehicle to the desired height and tighten down the bottom clamp and voila you now have a lift...granted the ride will be stiffer but on the plus side it will take 750-1250 pounds before your shocks start to compress under a load...as far as normal driving...there is not much difference with it up only 3 inches from whatever height you start from..any higher and you will have to tell us how it rides...but like i said this is a cheap and a cheater way to do it...most parts stores sell these things for under 30 bucks....they are called RIDE CONTROL HELPERS here is a link to give you an idea on them

Im kind of confused on that.
So could i put an add-a-leaf and that ride control 3"
I Guess i just dont get how it really works to lift my truck up
But im going to work now and i get out at like 10pm so ill come back and read your response

yes you can put an add-a-leaf on it...it works with your shocks.....it has 2 clamps one for the top one for the bottom..so what you do is put the top clamp on your shock and decide what height you want your vehicle to sit at..you do this by jacking the vehicle itself up..after you reach the desired height you put the spring on then the lower clamp and tighten them down alot...after you do this to both sides lower the vehicle it should not sag at all if it does measure the distance it sagged and redo the jacking up and adjust the lower clamp to reach desired height.......when the vehicle is fully lowered your truck will sit higher and have better load handling if you search in the lets hear your ram thread i posted sound clips of my super 44 exhaust in the vids you can see the set-up in action on the truck and how it is suppose to sit....dont know if it cleared it up or not if not let me know and i will try to answer as best as possible

 

the front end usually sits lower than the back stock. so if you have 5.5" of lift in the front you will only need like 3-4" in the rear to make it look level. i put 3" in the front and 2 in the back and it looks almost perfectly level. so if you get a 3" add-a-leaf that will prob be enough for the rear.

 

So you think itd be smarter to do the 3" add-a-leaf
Do you know where you can find them ive been looking around and for some reason i can't find them

i have been lookng in to this also. a shackle flip might be your answer.

 

Yeah but im looking to go as cheap as possible but also in a smart way nothing thats goes to go wrong or anything.
