of course 4.10s are going to be better for acceleration... with those parts id say25-30HP, 20-25 TQ.
those 1.7 rockers will not work with stock springs if your stock ratio is 1.5.

Originally I had thought about getting the pacesetter long tubes, until I found out I could get these.
I had my eye on some gibson shorties but they're $750 which i feel is a bit too much to pay for shorties, and I like the edelbrock shorties but I'm not going to put headers on till I'm replacing my whole exhaust system and I don't feel like doing it twice. If I get the shorties I'll always wonder what could have been.
As much as I'd like to get the exhaust done I can't justify spending the money onitwhen there's alotof things I need to do with this truck first (i.e. suspension, axels, gears, tires,8-lug wheels)
There's nothing wrong with my stock setup, and it sounds OKAY with my flowmater on it.
I'd feel like to big of an ******* if I did the exhaust first and then smashed it up dragging it off the ground. At least if I break what's on there now it gives me an excuse to do it sooner.
Also I'm thinking I might put in a new cam and rockers before I throw on the longtubes. Make it worthwhile.
Pa, I thought you had pace setter shorties? Glad to hear you're having good luck with the summit headers. We put them on my friends integra, figued they'd be okay if we put good gaskets and locking bolts in there. We were wrong, sure they didn't leak at the head, but the crap paint on them peeled of almost instantly and they were rusted and had holes in them with a year. He always had intentions of replacing them but ended up putting the stock manifold back on before he sold it.
[Edit]Is there a way to keep them from rusting out? I've heard over and over than no matter how high temp the paint is it will peel off.
