Does the A/C suppose to kick on when....
Is the a/c suppose to cycle when your running any of the heat settings?? I have noticed that my a/c will cycle if I have the heat on and say have the heat settings somewhat turned down??? The only time it will not cycle is when I have the controls turned to off, is this all correct?? Looks to me as long as the a/c cycles its going to hurt gas mileage some but when its been 15 degrees outside I still have to adjust the temp settings these Dodges have GREAT heat!!! Any ideas?? Thanks

Mine does that too...
I was told there is a moisture sensor somewhere in the ducts that senses the humidity... if theres alot of humidity it will do that... It will also do that no matter what if its on defrost...
If thats true, about the sensor it makes since... my heatercore is bad therefore adding extra humidity and the sensor can pick up on it hence why it does that all the time.
I have my a/c un plugged right now to stop it from doing that for the winter (heater core is so bad, ac doesnt help the window fog... I just deal with foggy windows and bad heat)
