The service manual says the bypass hose should be replaced every 50k miles. Not a necessity for the plenum repair, but you not going to find a better time to do it then when you have that kind of access to it.

I feel t-stats are usually junk, and should be replaced as often as possible. Not a necessity though, but again good to do while you have it apart.

I think o-rings should definetly be part of the plenum repair if your doing anything that has you remove the injectors (which i'm doing because of the kegger mod portion). Sometimes, you can leave the injectors in place, and just disconnect the fuel rails, in which case you would not need o-rings.

I already have 1.7's.
I'll tell you that the stuff I listed above is the only stuff i'm doing to the engine. The other stuff is elsewhere on the truck.

Ya, cam selection with 1.7's can be tricky. Better to stay with 1.6's if your doing a cam.

It's a picture of a car with a dual about 2 foot each pipe exhaust coming out of the trunk haha and a huge spoiler with several levels to it.

Man you forgot lots of stuff!

Lets see BEER, lawn chair, TV to watch the big game, hot wings, Pizza, space heater, and
cell phone. (to order more beer and pizza)

Have fun.

Personally if you have a good properly functioning thermostat I would re use it. The new one might be worse.
