With no filter at all
and a simple 6 inch hose feeding the throttle body bores
with cool outside air
the hp gain is only 7
according to Kenne Bell's rear wheel dyno tests
so any cold air system on a 2nd Gen Ram
is going to be less than this.
Many of the CAI's won't give any hp gain at all
compared to a paper filter'
when both have about 5000 miles of use on them
because the oiled gauze and foam filter plug up more quickly
beccause they have less pleats and less 'surface area'
