Default Is this the correct Performance pcm?

Looking for a performance pcm for my 95 5.9ltr. 2wd. Is this the correct one? If so will I have to hook it up and flash it or anything?

The Mopar performance book says "Provides increases in both horsepower and torque without affecting drivability" But it also says "Not recommended for towing applications" Doesn't give exact gains that you can expect.

Default RE: Is this the correct Performance pcm?

When I had a Mopar Performance PCM on mine, I could get away with mid grade octane pretty much year round except for the hottest summer months. I couldn't do that with the Hypertech, even when using the midgrade setting (still had to use '91 even on the midgrade setting or else it would ping). I once saw that Chrysler advertised something like 18-22HP gain with their Performance PCM. That's a bit more then what Hypertech was showing on their Dyno sheets. I thought it performed better then the Hypertech too.

Also, the Mopar PCM says it is not recommended if you tow, but i towed with mine all the time and didn't have any issues. But, my camper only weighs about 3000lbs loaded. If you tow heavier loads, i'd keep your stock pcm handy to swap in so you don't burn up your valves or something when under load with timing advanced.
