(this information came from motor technition that build the power plant for the srt and r/t dodges from 1990-2006 when he passed away.) My first dakota was totalled her name was black betty because she was one black dirty bitch that didnt wanna do anything but run **** over and funnel gas. first snow of the year in 2007 i totalled it. when i find the picture i will up load them. so everyone can see that they did make them standard.
BTW...Please do post pics.

Dakota R/Ts only came with 46re transmissions. If they made 650 with standard nv3500 trannys it would have been noted in the production numbers. 650 is A LOT to be produced with a nv3500. Also people have swapped nv3500 to the r/t dakota's the nv3500 is strong enough to handle the torque, the power difference from the 5.2 and 5.9 is not that big to cause major problems.

So I'm calling BS. Sorry... Pending evidence.

Copied from another forum...Posted by the former owner of Dakota-Durango.com

The DRTC (Dakota R/T Club) has had over 10 years of presence on the internet plus national meets, and none of the members have ever owned or even seen one with a manual transmission.

Dak-Dur has been around for almost 10 years with a much larger base of Dodge Truck owners, and nobody has ever owned or seen one with a manual transmission.

Nobody's ever seen or heard of one on DD, DT, DF, DTW, DTO, or DramaUSA.

I'm done posting about this, but I am waiting for pics.

Yep back on track....But BS is BS.

Now...Anyone have pic of a modded Kegger with the voids between the runners filled with Epoxy to cut down on the Plenum volumn?

I'm thinking about putting a modded Kegger I have on my Ram, plenum is leaking so why not.

EDIT: Found a thread Here Maybe not such a good idea.
