Stroker Kit ?'s

Stroker Kit ?'s
Hey all...
I have a few questions about KRC stroker kits.
1. Why is the 408 cheaper than the 390?
2. What kind of hp increases can be expected with each?
3. Would there be a need to change anything else (internals)in the motor?
4. What's the difference between "balanced" and "unbalanced" kits?
5. Which kit would be better for a DD?
I think that's all.
Thanks.

RE: Stroker Kit ?'s
Well I do not know from experience, so I can't give you hp increase etc.. As far as changing the internals, just depends how far you wanna go. The kit should change your crank, pistons etc, but.. i mean if ya wanna work on your heads, cam, etc. Being balanced and unbalanced, the 318 is internally balanced, and 360 is externally balanced by ... wtf is that thing called... ____ dampener??... wait, Harmonic balancer, and I think the 360's use a different fly wheel. Better for daily driver.... your 360.
Good luck!

RE: Stroker Kit ?'s
So the 360, since it is externally balanced, would need the unbalanced kit? Thanks for the info... I guess with the question about internals, what I'm really asking is: Could you install this stroker kit and not change any other parts except for what comes in the kit and be okay?
If I do this, it will be a couple of years down the road...just like to know ahead of time.
