I hope they put in ATF+4 transmission fluid, otherwise you'll be rebuilding that transmission fairly soon.

Depends on what has been run in it Jason.The truck was built at least 7-8 years before +4 was invented.

Ithink he meant ATF fluid....3 then 4 I still cant get over my manual and dipstick saying dextron is ok.... I'm convinced its not good for my tranny but am shocked they didnt have so many lawsuits on this if it were true?

I used DEXRON III in mine for 386K.

Same here, DIII for 226K and, when I took it in to have it serviced, the guy told me that he had never seen a tranny that was so clean and in such good shape.

tranny was in great shape... only has 108k miles on it from factory

mine does this when its cold, on occasion, it won't if i put it in neutral for a few seconds before going into drive
