Default Which valve spring for R/T cam?

I just got a R/T cam dirt cheap and was wondering what is the best valve spring to use and where to get it from? I am rebuilding my 5.9 360 engine and not looking to do a extreme motor, but daily driver with towing, good overall runner. I have already checked WholesaleMopar.com and was wondering if there are any other options equivalent.

Rebuilt bottom end
Doing the kegger modification and upgrading the plenum plate
Stock heads
Manum R/T cam
Stainless shortie headers
Magnaflow high flow cat
Dual exhaust out mufflers
Underdrive polished pulleys
Mopar Double Roller timing chain
Plan on Fastman TB

I dont know which R/T cam you are refering to, but the 4876062 springs are rather good for a little higher lift. Great open pressure of about 360, so you get a little less wear on your valves and seats.

thats a fine spring for the lift. .525 bind with a cam thats 467 max. general rule of thumb is that you want approximately 1/16th of an inch diffrence btwn bind hight and max lift. (cam lift is measured in tenths of inches incase you didnt know or figgure out yet) so .500 is 1/2 inch or 8/16th.

indy is right you want at least .060 clearance... id go with those recommended springs or comp cams 901-16 springs. they are good to .550 lift if you decide to get a larger cam down the road.
