I have never really heard anyone say anything about Summits wires. If you get them let us know how they work out.

Will do... I'd say I'll go with the Summit and get my tape at the same time.No sense payin two shipping charges from different places. I don't really have a color preference, but I agree the red and black looks sharp.

I think I want to run Champion truck plugs, too...haven't decided. At NAPA, do I need to make sure and ask for brass dist cap & rotor, or is there another type? It's the Gold series, right?

What kind of tape are you talking about? You could just get that at jegs... As for plugs, get autolite 3923 copper cores. Trust me, they are great in these engines as well as the 3.7 and 4.7. The factory recommended is 5224, but the 3923's are 2 heat ranges cooler and make the engine run very well.

This is the tape:http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...0002_744853_-1 I'm getting it to wrap the tube on my intake and my fuel railing. I guess I could get it at Jegs...you really want me to buy those red wires, huh?

If I do get the Jeg's wires, do I need part # 555-40250for all Chrysler 360s? I noticed this part #, 555-40251, only listed years 94-00.

These aren't Universal are they? I don't want that crap where I have to go stripping ends and putting on what I need...I want direct fitment.[8D]

I have no idea why it would only say 94-00, there werent any major engine changes I am aware of... I dunno, maybe someone else will chime in. I know I bought a set of those wires for my SBC and they are very nice wires.

I'd make sure they will fit. I bought the wrong set of MSD wires the first time around as Summit said they would fit and the other set that was supposed to be correct would only fit 94-00. Turns out the ones they said would fit were for the old style 360 and they don't fit on the dist cap. They are way too loose. I had to crimp them down to make them fit and sometimes they will slip off. Overall just a pita to deal with. The coil wire was also way too short so I called MSD and they had me measure what I needed and sent me one for free that was the length I measured. Well, the first time they said they would but never did and the 2nd time I called to check on the status he put it through and it got sent out to me.

Jr.,

I may just send Jeg's an email and ask them about it...like you said, doesn't make sense since the 2 gens were 94-01. I had to go to Wally World a few minutes ago to pick up some stuff, so I went ahead and grabbed some 3923's. These better be good! I guess I trust you (and mostly everyone on here). Unfortunately, I have to wait until we get our taxes back to do the rest.[:@] We're moving in May, so we're trying to save as much $$$ as possible. I did manage to work in how "I need to tune my truck up before the move," and get the go-ahead to drop a few bucks. If I can't get a firm word from Jeg's I guess I'll be forced to order the ones from Summit...

The autolites made my truck run rough after a month or two. I'd take them back and get Champions. Autolites are great for F but Dodges seem to like Champions.
