I agree (on both counts). If there's one way to get your point across to the cop that screwed you over, it's the media. I'm sure they'd do it joyfully.

 

Tell this to you alderman and mayor at city hall. I would also see the Chief of police. Ask him if this is the type of officer that they need on the force? If you stay calm, you will NOT have to pay and you may be compensated...but only if you stay calm and be polite.

+1 On the local news. We have a few people here in the Saint Louis area that could get big ratings with this!

If you don't get satisfaction you can get a sign and stand in front of the Police department with a sign that says "Officer (name)Rescued-Fine $100.00" This is your first amendment right.

 

Cops let me tell ya. As soon as I get it off my camara phone I will show everybody.I like the news station idea.. I should bill the county for a new tranny.. I pay my taxes.. the cops have never had to come to my home. My truck isnt loud and this is my first ticket ever... I am definatly fighting this.

Also, consider a well written letter and send it to the nation news stations, they may pick it up, especially those 24 hour ones that need filler. National coverage, that will get under the cops skin. Also post the video on Youtube, putfile, ect.

 

This is just too friggin hillarious... I'm going over all of this stuff just laughing it up. Too bad this story is for real. Sorry to hear about it but at the same time I am certainly getting a kick out of it. Seriously though, you better fight that ticket every way you can. Like the man said. Be polite, and stay calm. Rehearse a little bit... Why not, You want everything you say to be clear and to the point. And be sure that the next time you see that guy sitting on the side of the road, you pull over and give him a ticket for being a F****** *****, Then get in your truck and put him back in that ditch where he belongs.
