Ooh gotcha, that is convenient for you. Definitely stay with the same scoop that was badass.

Is there a reason your insurance isn't covering the repairs?
I haven't been following your disaster lately.

Why change the scoop then? Damaged?
LOL damaged is an understatement. When that went up it caused most of the damage.

Are you going to customize the new dash i.e. paint it to match the truck?
Idk. I might fool arround with the gauges and replace the stockers with autometer ultralites. Other than that Id like to keep it stock.
like my gauges there do ya, gov?

First good day to do some work to the truck, every day has been rainy or snowy or just downright bitter. I got it all taken apart except the heater core, and dropping the oil pan. Repainted every part that came off that needed repainting, and it looks better than it did before. Cleaned up most of the engine bay, removed the rockers and pushrods to clean them up. Cleaning the springs tomorrow, and putting the valvetrain back together. I took out the ac lines, but not the radiator. Ill do that tomorrow possibly. Bad news of the day....I think I dislocated my sholder. I was trying to bash out the back of one of the rivits on the dash and I was all contorted and I slammed the screwdriver and my shoulder popped and I could barely use it for the rest of the day. I tried putting it back in but it just came out again, so I guess I gotta go to the doctor tomorrow, as much as I hate to. More bad news...the hood needs replacing. The hood is warped under the scoop really bad. Other than that, it was a rather productive day.

I decided not to persue it. The most I may do is just file a small claims and hope for a couple bucks to shut me up.

Dang Indy! Take it easy. I had to have a shoulder reconstruction done. I still have a trick shoulder (long story but it involves me falling off a roof and breaking my wrist and shoulder then getting into weightlifting). If you will move your elbow in, palm up, then movehand/arm like you are going to touch your opposite shoulder it should pop back in.
