Am I the only one on this forum with a lowered Ram? I'm starting to feel left out among all thes lifted sky high Rams. Ya'll post some pics if you have a dropped Ram.

No but i want to drop mine. I just have to get the tranny fixed first. I just spent and am still working on my timing/plenum/waterpump/tune-up/oil pump/kegger mod. Its taking longer than I thought only because I didn't have all the parts and tools when I started.

Then I gots to fix the tranny. Then I will lower it.

I had 23"s for a while and they wouldn't fit with a drop. I may do something like what you have. My friend with an 04 said he would sell me his stock 20"s and Ilike that look.

I used to mud, but I can't afford it. I am stupid with a 4x4 and have destroyed everyone I had (89blazer,90cherokee,98Montero all RIP).

I need to stay away from mud unless its on my atv, which fits nicely in my 2wd.

That and I have only seen snow twice in 27 years. No real need, I would always be broke down.

But yeah to me your truck looks better than many of the raised ones, but again thats what I like.

Looks nice. How is it dropped, suspension or spindles?

Nothing wrong with lowered Rams. I like the low and lean look. I like high and lifted also. To each their own, there are others on here that are lowered.....

I feel your pain. I wish I could lower mine but I tow a fat travel trailer and don't think it would work out for me. But, I'm old school from when the "lowered" look was actually chopped. Back then we lowered the roof line as well as the suspension. Lots 'o' body work but OUTRAGEOUS look on practically any vehicle.

My pace truck is lowerd. I went with a full DJM suspension up front. Coils, upper and lower cotrol arms. I did not use spindles because when you run bigger rims the tie rod end will hit the rims. On the rear I made my own c notch/ flip kit. All I have to do is finish my tranny member for max ground clearence. Total I put a 5/7 drop on my ram. It looks great! As soon as I finish my 15' roter/ 6 piston caliper conversion there is 22 srt 10 rims waiting. Will have pics soon.

no you might have to run a 1/2 spacer so your wheels clear your front suspension. bolt pattern is the same.

Squishy, I wasn't for lowered rams. But that truck changed my mind. That is a sick ride. I still prefer jacked up mud trucks, but my dodge is 2wd, so the only mud it sees is from a rooster tail off another 4wd lol.

Anyone have a lowered ext. cab?
