Default 5.2 - Internally or externally balanced??

I was looking at stroker kits from KRC performance, I was almost 100% sure that 318's were internally balanced. On KRC's website they have a 390 stroker listed for balanced and unbalanced 318. Thanks for any help!!

It would be nice if they were externally balanced, the unbalanced stroker kit is $350.00 less than the balanced kit.... Still very expensive, but I think it would be worth it.

I thought the 5.2 was internally balanced and the 5.9 external.

Thats what i thought too, I wasnt sure tho because they have them listed for both... Does anyone know how much horsepower Ill actually pick up with a 390 stroker kit? I just want to know if it will be enough to justify the cost of the kit ($2350.00) which is kinda salty.
Ive been planning on getting a cam and a new clutch etc... So I figured i might as well get a stroker kit. I gotta save up some cash first tho...

I guess I depends on what else you add to it.
Generally stroker motors are for adding torque (lower RPM). If you want higher RPM horsepower maybe look into a different style kit.

I guess there is no real answer unless there is someone who has one and has dynoed it. I was planning on getting a fairly lopey cam and either port and polish my heads or buy a set of aluminum heads (edelbrock or something like that).

Buy the book " how to build big-inch mopar small-blocks" if you are interested in this. It tells you everything you need to know.
