ok now ive got some Q's on e-fans. does anyone have the perma cool direct fit e-fans? if so is it worth 570.00. Or does anyone have any e-fans on the 5.9 mag. does it keep ur truck cool? im just trying to find out cuz im in Phx, AZ and the summers here are 115 deg. and i dont want to overheat!! please help ive tried searching and cant find what im lookin for. thanx for the help!!!!!!!!!

If you are talking about the cool pak then yes I have one. I did not get a chance to see how it performs. I had to travel again. Sorry cant help you much. I can tell you that it is very well put together. The shroud has places to mount your wiper fluid and coolant tanks basically in the factory location. It also mounts to the existing mounts. Wires in easily. The hardest part is getting the mechanical fan off.

the question is.. do you think its worth it .. to me sounds kinda pricy.. but then again i havnt looked around at the E-Fans. Sorry Couldnt Help Much

I have e fans and live in Dallas this summer we hit 105* a few times and I never ran above 190* with a 180* tstat in heavy gridlock in Downtown Dallas.

If you go with a set of fans that can move anywhere between 4000 and 5000 CFM's you should be fine. Aim for the higher CFM's if you tow or load it down a lot.

built my own shroud , fans are flx-210 rated at 2500 cfm bare mim that i would stick on a truck... as far as heat goes , ill let you know this fall...
