Anyone ever use Stampede Rocker Panels? I see they come in black ABS. I can't find an image of them in black, the camo image is all over the place. I guess since they are paintable I could paint them. I just would like to know if anyone has used/seen them, I want to know if i can grind off the rust and rust proof the door then cover the mess up with this ABS rocker panel?

Trying to avoid getting the diamond plating or the stainless/chrome or the camo.

Does using the bedliner on the rockers cover up imperfections?

 

Yes it will cover it up, herculiner suggest like 3 coats and thats almost an 1/8 inch thick

 

If you have a relatively flat surface, yes.

Spray on bedliner isn't going to function like Bondo, but it's more forgiving than paint.
