I've used Lucas Upper Cylinder lube in my truck and various other vehicles with pretty good results. It's a lubricant as well as a mild injector cleaner. The results aren't dramatic but I feel it runs a bit better with the Lucas.
The best thing you can do is make sure your air filter is free flowing and your tire pressures are set properly for max economy.

Yup just pour it in the tank.
It's available in single shot doses, quarts, gallons, and 45 gal drums.
The bigger the container the cheaper it is per dose. I buy in gal containers for about $22.
Should be available at virtuallyany parts store. Often there are coupons or promos on the stuff too.

Changing my air cleaner to the edelbrock triangular one with the foam element (chrome mesh top) net me 2 MPG more and better response. So that gave me 14.5 with performance PCM, 24# injectors and 33s. However my rear is 3.55.
Get the air cleaner!!! 25 bucks at autozone. Describe it and they will know what it is. It is for 4barrel carbs. Since our TBs are holley made...any ol' air cleaner will fit.
BTW, i used lucas for 3 months and i didn't notice anything. Best thing to do is get that intake cleaning service for 60 bucks at the shop. I will clean your valves and chambers. Plus they add a potent additive. If you get that done, fill your tank every time you use 1/4 tank. The additive works slowly. That is the best thing for MPG.
Don't go too crazy. Additives have a way of messing your sensors and plugs up (white coating on plugs...can also burn valves).
