Default Need a jack & lug wrench for 2001 1500 (Florida)

I bought my 1500 from a private party and it has no jack or lug wrench tool to lower the spare. If someone has a spare in the garage I'm interested. Zip is 32258 for shipping.

Any suggestions where I could get one online?

David

I have two, but shipping would be a beast compared to the weight. Wally World has bottle jacks for $15 or something, but if you decide you want this one of mine, I'll give it to you for $5 plus shipping.

do you have the tool that goes into the back of the bumper to lower the spare? I could just get a bottle jack but need this tool. If it's just a long rod maybe I could make one from a long bolt with some nuts on it.

Any idea for shipping to 32258?

Go to www.car-parts.com and search for Jack Assembly for your truck in Florida. I found 5 places that have what you want.

Good luck.

I wouldn't get a bottle jack. It's about worthless imo. I paid the $20 or so and got a mini floor jack at Wal-Mart that fits under my rear seat. It's made by GM.

Just to let the first two poster know.

USPS (post office) alllows you to ship anything that fit in a priority box for $8.95. The jack will fit in said box. The long rods for the jack may need to be mailed in a tube, but the weight is not that bad. Figure around $16 to ship both the jack and the lug tool and extensions. Go to the postoffice and see what size boxes they have for one rate shipping.

I use it all the time on Ebay and it helps for those heavy items, as long as its less than 60#s.

Honestly man I wouldn't waste my time with stock jacks, they are usually junk. As mentioned before, buy a small hydraulic floor jack (harbor freight does have them as well), and carry a ratchet, extension, and socket to fit it in the truck.

I agree although he needs those factory tools to lower the tire down. I have a lug wrench I put in there as my factory one won't fit my lug nuts. This one has 4 different sizes on it then I have a small jack I bought to put in there.
