Changes about to go down.
I'm also just going to assume that saying is just another negative zinger directed towards me..
But I was talking to my buddy RamGuy online. And I've made my mind up. I'm keeping the 35s, and the lift. If I can fix the tranny, great. IF not, I'll have to get a new one. Either way, I'm done being hard on it. I'm just going to start taking it easy, and driving slower. I'm just going to work on replacing the mud tires, and getting the procomp all-terrains. That way I can get a smooth riding tire, and it will do a lot better in all road conditions. The truck obviously has a lot of power, so it probably does have 4.56s. I wish I had the truck so I could do the test. I'll just start keeping it easy guys, and enjoy my lift and my 35s. And I'll just start either slowly picking away at making the existing lift right, or saving up for the fabtech or skyjacker liftkit. Sound like a plan guys?

sounds like a great plan man, the a/t tires are much better for street and highway driving. Pro comp a/ts are very good, rated for 50,000 miles i believe. good luck with the truck.

Well I wasn't really understanding what your saying was implying? As I said to you in your PM, I never know what I'm going to get from you[8D]
I would go in this order
Trans
Suspension
Wheel/Tires
You still have life in your tires, and you know you have suspension problems. Shoot for the suspension before the tires.

I like that. Get the tranny situation squared away. No more peelouts, and be easy on her. Finish fine tuning the front end suspension to make it adequate. Cap her off with ProComp All-Terrains for a smooth and improved ride. Bam, done deal fellas. Thank You!
wait i thought last week your truck was the king and it smoked your brothers bad *** truck and blah blah. its a truck dude, not a race car, not a mustang, its a dodge truck. like cereal said, you have stock gears! i run 35's on my truck and i run about 80 down the highway, with no problems. Why dont you just sell it and get a terd. if your trucks the "family joke" then get rid of it! one day its the best, and the next its the worst because you had to drive it on the highway. thats how lifted trucks ride, ****ty!!! get used to it or sell it, cause u aint sayin nothin to the guys who have em.
To make your lift right you need a pitman arm drop bracket, shocks, longer control arms, shocks, track bar drop bracket(If yours is only for 3" lift that is), and sway bar drop brackets. Thats pretty much what you need. Then to replace any front end parts already worn out from that crappy lift. I'd probably go with longer coils too asd I like them better than spacers but then again spacers are probably okay.
Well, that's pretty much the way it is. That trip really capped it off for me. But, with that said, I can accept that. I can accept my truck is not designed for speeding (although it sure is mighty fast for a lifted truck). I want this truck, I love it, it's part of my life. That trip just really put it home that I have to just take it easy and enjoy the truck for how it looks and what it is. I love this thing, and the way she looks. I will start taking care of it, and just being easy on the gas, and enjoying my ride. I'm getting the transmission situation taken care of, and then I'm just going to slowly start picking away at the suspension components in need, and then...gets the allterrain tires on her. There is a great chance this truck has 4.56s as well, which would furthermore indicate this truck can handle the big tires too. Either way, 4.10 or 4.56, she can handle them. I can accept this truck is not meant for racing, but when I need it, I'll use it. I just can't do it all the time. Love this baby though, love the sound of her, the look, the black paint, the height, it's my dream truck. I feel confident with what I'm going to do now, and it's a thanks to you guys, for real.
Ya, I didn't even bother reading through this thread after I read the very first post. I really don't know what to say to someone who comes on and starts a thread just to be able to brag about how his truck is flipping amazing, cooks 35's, keeps up with this massive 460 F350, and how it is doing everything you could ever ask of it. Then a complete 180 only a week or two later where now your truck sucks in all conditions and can do no good. You need to just slow down in my opinion and relax. Drive your truck the way you want to drive it for a month or two without posting any comments about it. Just drive your truck. During that time, really evaluate what it is about your truck that you like and what you dislike. Make a list. When you've done that, then look at it and see if you see any commonalities and compare against what you really want out of your truck. Then concentrate on fixing those ONE AT A TIME. Forget about aftermarket wheels and all this other nonsense that is just a waste of money. Figure out what you want your truck to be, and take it one mod at a time to get there. That's my opinion, and i'm really not trying to be mean at all, so please don't take it that way. Your just all over the map with this truck, so you need to slow down and find what it is you want, and focus all your attention on building it to be that.
