I am trying to convert my truck to a light street racer. I have a 97 1500 pick up with a 5.2 and a 9 1/4 rear open. I need a posi rear because i will be putting in twin turbos. Is there a posi assembly i can buy for the 9 1/4 and would it hold the increase in horsepower? or should i get adana 60? and do those come with a 5 lug hub, i dont want to change rims. some one please help!

No offence but you dont sound like youd be the type to be putting twin turbos in your truck. Whats your plan, what are the parts you are going to be running. So we can get a good idea of the power you will be making and help pick a rear thats appropriate.

randys ring and pinion is where I get all my rear stuff. They seem to have the best deals and best customer service

here's what im putting in: two t3 with 60 trim turbos(took about 4 hours of calculations to find most efficient turbos), shortie headers, 3 inch exhaust, and the posi rear. plus cosmetic stuff after the performance.

Guess you were right...

I think the9.25 will be fine for what you're doing.

That place seemed to have the best deals when I got mine. They were good to deal with too. I ordered it at 2:30 that evening and had at my door around 12pm the next afternoon. This is probably because I'm only a few hours away though.
