Ya, I agree. I may do a cam someday, but i'm sure the hell not buying new rockers. My HS 1.7's are aluminum, roller fulcrom, roller tip. They are staying in.

Really??! That is strange, I have a friend with the same exact truck as you and he owes me $160.00. Hmmm....

Anyway, I was looking at the KRC210X cam, I dont know if that cam would be too big for the 1.7s or not. how do I figure out how big is too big for a cam, KRC does not list the specs for the 210x... INDY, what cam do you have or what one would you suggest opposed to the 210??

remember...X/YxZ=A, where X is the lift (with 1.6's) Yis 1.6 Z is 1.7 and A is your new total lift.

Cash is king and I want a percentage of the money you get being in the video.
Im getting sidetracked here....

That formula will help out alot, I just need to call KRC and see if they give the specs for their cams.
I know I posted about this before (dont want to sound redundant) but I plan on getting a stroker kit, I have not the slightest clue which cam will work best on a stroker engine. Anyone have any suggestions??

I was wondering how those grommets sealed up. Those baffles arent too big that they will interfere with the rockers are they? I plan on putting a cam in this summer and I was going to get aftermarket rockers (the same size 1.6) but I think the baffles in the stock covers need to be cut out or modified if you buy different rockers and get a cam?? Correct me if Im wrong, but thats what ive gathered about it. I could be completely wrong....
I have the same exact valve covers on my engine, APS baffles, and Harlan Sharp 1.6 roller rockers. Absolutely no issue. You will have no problem with that combination.

A question here when I compare the pics of your valve covers with mine. It looks like you bought a set of old LA style valve covers with 5 bolt holes where the Magnum engines use the 10 bolt hole style. Others will have to chime in about whether they will work correctly.

Indy has said in the past that they will work. I prefer the extra bolts to ensure less chance of leaks, but if your adjusting valves frequently, the 5 bolt would make your life easier.
