I am having one hell of a time trying to find this wiring harness. If anyone is going to a junkyard please keep an eye out for a harness for me. Thanks.

 

Which one ???

 

I forgot the year of your truck, but basically one from a 94-01? does 5.2 or 5.9 matter? We don't have a whole lot of our trucks down at the local pick-n-pull, but I'm down there probably once a week. No gaurantees, but I will keep my eyes out.

 

Actualy Indy, I am going to a couple of yards this weekend. I plan on going to at least four.

We have a ton of flood damaged vehicles for parts here and the stuff is cheap. There are three "u-pull-it" yards that I really like, most of which don't charge for little things.

Let me know specificlly would any94-01 harness work. Also I would assume that the harness would be better from a wrecked rather than flooded vehicle. I was going to get another Kegger,a TB, and all kinds of lagniappe.(stuff)

If I see one in good shape, I will strip it out. I have gotten harnesses before from the junkyard.

 

It looks like only either A. My year (96) or B. 4x2. (5.9 or 5.2 doesnt look to make a diffrence)

 

If you don't have the 3 connectors before your fuse box (take a look at the pic i posted where you asked in the other post)...then I can get you a wiring harness from a 99 2x4 5.2. Although i don't think it will work. There were no sensors on the TC when i pulled everything. So i think you really need the same harness from the same year. The harness from the 99 5.2 does not have the three connectors before the fuse box. Just a giant plug that goes into the bottom of the fuse box. THat is the one hat i paid for already but won't work for my 96 4x4.

 

He needs a 1996 engine harness from a 2x4 5.2. No need fo the harness from the 3 connectors to the fuse box. He needs from the 3 connectors to the engine.

 

The 5.2 is the same as the 5.9 right? I dont think I noticed a diffrence today. But yea, it looks like only 96 will do the trick. Im not sure as to the 4x4 vs 4x2 harness yet though. I may just have some extra sensors, but Im affraid Ill need a 2x4.
