show me your turbo "Gasoline only" 360cc v-8
I have investigated thisadd-on and am super excited to go forward. if anyone has pictures of there Dodge ram GASOLINE ONLY please post. also if there are any tips or problems that you encountered i would love to here them all.
GenIII Ram there are quite a few around
GenII Ram, I dont know of any with a turbo
Have a Procharger s/c on mine. Centrifugal s/c looks like a turbo, just belt driven instead of exhaust driven.

Ya, i've been on multiple dodge forums for about 4 years now, and I have never seen a working turbo setup on a 2nd Gen Ram. Not saying it isn't possible, just never seen one. There was a company back about a year or two ago that was talking about developing one, and was looking for volunteers over on another dodge forum, but they came back a few months later and said there was not enough interest or market to make the R&D worth it. I never saw anything from them again.

I'd rather have a supercharger anyways since it runs off the crank and not the exhaust.

That doesn't make any sense at all. A turbocharger is more efficient because it uses exhaust energy that is usually wasted.

Thats not really true. You have to spool the turbo and since our engines run in the low rpm range the turbo dosn't get a chance to spool. You end up haveing huge turbo lag. Super charger is on all of the time that way you get the benifts all of the time.

Somebody always thinks they know better cause the fast and the furious had it...
Some Basics;
If you want to add boost to your motor, betterhave deep pockets
You want your motor tohave under 100k miles on it and be in good condition and well maintained. (55k on mine when added) Do not go over 7psi boost with stock headgaskets. Gauges are really needed to monitor things and help tune it. Fuel pressure, boost pressure, a/f gauge w/wideband o2 and trans temp recommended.
Biggest thing with running boost is the tune and depending onNA hp levels the fuel system as well. Stock motor, you will be fine with most kits availablejust dont overdrive it and be sure to pull enough timing in boost to not get detonation.
Built tranny highly recommended.
As far as troubles go, your best to check my website. History of my mod progression from showroom till now and how it responded on the 1/4m and what troubles I had.
Made270rwhp (mild 360/stk hds)before adding the Procharger& with 7psiitbumped it toabout 400rwhp. Now, the 408 motor should be good for 370rwhp with boost adding 50-90% more rwhp. (7-14psi)
Couple pics below with the mild 360 and Procharger D-1SC & 3core air to air intercooler.

New setup will look much better with everything being either billet polished alum, painted ceramic enamel or powdercoated.
