Well.. Today I stopped by a "pimp my ride" truck accessories place after work.. After I get the 5.9 put in I plan on getting a) Power Locks, b) Alarm, c) Power Windows d) Remote Start. Obviously you cant have an alarm without the power locks. SO, They would install a BADASS alarm, Power Locks, and the Remote Start is part of the Badass alarm, $499 Installed(I didnt think that was to bad, I know the place is kinda high dollar, but as anyone knows in the auto land you get what you pay for.. and these guys have a lifetime on the labor, and parts) but when I asked about the Power Windows.. O_o.. WOW they want to charge me 399 to put power windows on two doors.. SOO.. My plan is to jump to a local junk yard and either buy the motors and do the install myself.. or buy the motors and have SOMEONE ELSE do the install. Just wanting a second opinion on the prices.. and maybe what to look out for, or what to make sure to get when i get the motors. Hell, if anyone has done something threw summit at a lower price.. let me know. appreciate it guys.
