I agree its the tv cable too.

I just don't understand how the dealership couldn't find a burnt wire. It had to stickout somewhat. That is messed up.

You would expect a mechanic to be good at troubleshooting. Looks like you are better off picking up a wrench.

So the tranny is all done, and the saga is over.

.......or is it???? {da da duuh}

LOL hope I'm not breaking the "end the saga" protest, but it sounds like a good idea with the video.

I will make a video tonight and show you guys what I mean.
I'll make a video of it being floored from a standstill.
And I'll make a video of me punching it around 40mph and how it just goes everywhere.

I'll have the video for you guys later tonight. I have class til 5.

We don't need a video it's the TV cable. I'd bet money on it. If you lived near me I'd come show you. My truck did the exact same thing. It feels like it has no power because it's not shifting down into the gear it should be in. It in a gear higher than it needs to be.

I had this exact same issue with mine exactly the same. There is a slight chance it's something else but I'd seriously bet money it's the TV cable. No reason not to go back and have them tighten it up. Or if you really don't want to go back just do it yourself but I personally would take it back and make them do it while I sat there and watched.

You have other things that could be causing a power loss but you also have the symptoms of a TV cable that is adjusted wrong and what you are describing sounds like adjusting it would fix it. If you have a blad pleneum thats draining some power and you could check to see if your plugs are fouled but the big thing is your TV cable needs adjusting.

Lol yeah but not to tell what the problem is. I can already tell him without seeing a video. So have others here.

As far as videos if we get a bunch like last time I'm guessing we are going to hear in few months that he needs another transmission or rear end.

BTW Does your transmission company warranty the transmission if it blows up while racing or something like that? I know a lot don't. That was one thing I liked about APS they would so if I went to the track and blew it up they would still cover it.

Don't be out spinnin' your tires and **** when your LSD is falling apart in your rear end if you want the thing to hold up long enough to replace it without replacing your ring and pinion gears.

Call and talk to him. He says he will cover it even if you blow it up racing it. His one thing he wanted was that I told him what I planned to do with it before he built it so he knew how to build it. He said if I blow it up at the track it still is covered.
