Thanks. I'm going to try to find a used one but the one I was going to get for $150 today turned out to be for a '99 model. I need part #50003 and that one was 50004. I'm lovin' the truck though. People used to pull out in front of me all the time when I had the Z28 but they don't do that now. I guess they are thinking "ouch" if they do it LOL. For instance, if I hit my friend's Honda CRX hatchback head on, he would go under me.[sm=insomnia.gif]

Anyway, some old guy in a small Jeep SUV started to pull out in front of me and then he stopped and backed up. I think that was the first time that has ever happened and I didn't have to hit the brakes. I spilled drinks and all kinds of other stuff went flying around when I had the Z28 in those situations LOL.

DEATHFLASH!
As alluded to earlier, look for stickers on the radiator support, pcm and the firewall. Anything that says "authorized software upgrade" is most likely Dodge's attempt at fixing the incessant pinging on the magnums. My truck was deathflashed and lost all power on the highway. I bought a Hypertech and it was night and day better. No more downshifting, much better mileage, better power. Unfortunately, I have to run 89 or it will ping anyway.

LOL I like your avatar!!!

I'll look into 4.10s but won't that kill gas mileage too? I'm looking for more power and better mileage with bolt-ons. I'm not sure what effect going from 3.55s to 4.10s would have on gas mileage. Maybe the tire size would take away any negative effect.
They will actually help gas mileage because you won't have to hammer the gas pedal to get up to speed.

Highway speeds you will roughly be at 2000 RPM, which seems to be the sweet spot for the magnum motors
doubt it. With 30" tires and stock gears im 2050ish at 70

You better watch out. There's a new sheriff in town around these parts, and hedon't take kindly to people who post in the wrong forum, ot threads, and personal chit chat.
