Running a 3 inch spacer with out longer control arms and a track bar mount may send your 305s into your fender wells or control armstoo.

So will rims with too much positive offset. (Scrub radius).

it is sopposed to be a leveling kit of sorts.the 2' spacer has no problem so you why do you think another inch will do that?

I just put 315 75 R16 tires on my 97 ram w/ a 3 " lift and there is plenty of room so you can deffinately fit 35's on a dodge w/ a 3 inch lift

why do YOU think that a 2" leveling kit doesnt have problems. it does just like desert dog said
3" spacers just magnifies the problems. save your money and do a full lift kit or use a body lift.

I've read that a 2" leveling kit on a Ram equiped with the Offroad package will run 35's without any trouble provided you install the proper length control arms. True or False?

Look at the pics of my 98 1500. It is not really a sport, I just made it look that way. It is an SLT though. Those are 315/75/16 tires. I have a two inch coil spacer on front, thats it. Those are of course stock wheels. I had those on there a year before I put the spacer on. Yes they rubbed but I could live with it. Now they only rub a little when I turn one way (can't remember which). Save your money, put on the tires first then see if you can live with the way they are.

305/70/16 Pro Comp All Terrain on stock wheel and no lift no rub.
Incidentally, a Nitto Terra Grappler in the same as above will rub your control arms.
