Does anyone know if 3rd Gen diesel coils will fit on a 2nd gen half ton? I need to make a trip to the ol' salvage yard this weekend and get some new mirrors for my truck since some @$$bag decided to break both of mine off in a parking lot and was thinking if I could find either a 2nd or 3rd gen Diesel 4x4 while im there, id also snag the coil springs off of it to go on the front of my 1/2 ton.

 

I doubt it, possibly the 2nd gen ones, but I am not sure. Good luck finding one in the scrap yard, anyways.

 

Well, they might fit, but you are going to absolutely hate the stiff ride you will have running 3/4 ton springs in your 1/2 ton.

 

Stiff Ride dosnt bother me. I had an old Cj7 with a 4"/Spring Over combo.. that was a stiff ride!
