I tried posting that I want a Black Thrush Glasspack but I guess it never posted. I think the high flow cat and the pack would be more than enough for me.

I think that if ya want good flow with lots of sound the only way to go is the cutout... maybe thats just because I absolutely love my system... I have an electronic valve after the cat with a stock muffler. I just keep the valve open and run loud untill I need the stealth truck, then I close it and run a stock exhaust. its a little loud in the cab but I love it. Also BTW you really can feel the power increase with the thing open... and you will gain about 1.5-2 gallon per mile from the reduced back pressure [8D]

I have a 3" y-pipe after my PS longtubes that runs immediately into a 3" x 20" galsspack, then immediately into a 3" si/so CherryBomb Extreme that is dumped where the cab and bed meet. The glasspack acts like a resonator and eliminates the cackle I got from the CBE, and gives a very strong, consistant rumble / roar. There is virtually no "drone" at all now in the cab with the added glasspack, but still can very easily be heard in the cab. The sound is unlike any other Ram I've heard. It sounds like a strong muscle car without the hollow echoing sound that seems to be somewhat typical for these trucks, or at least from what I've ever personally heard. Not that the typical sound is bad by any means, but I like the way mine sounds better than anything else I've heard. It now sounds "ANGRY!!!"

Hey Ron, that's a pretty neat idea you ran. I think your option is a great idea for some guys who are still deciding what they want to do. I'm in love with my flowmaster system, but for people who want something different, I think using the glasspack as a resonator, and then the cherrybomb is a mint idea. Got any vids my man?

I can take some video footage of it, but my camera doesn't do exhaust sounds any justice. I took video of my Jeep I had for sale so everyone could hear the FM Super 44s it had with the Chevy 350 engine, and the sound wasn't that great. I will see what I can do and post the results later. Hopefully I can get it to record better sound. The picture quality can be adjusted to be great, but I'm not so sure about the sound.

Not too mention speakers don't resonate the tone's mufflers/glasspacks do. So ya never really get an accurate sound, but a good idea nonetheless.
