hey guys, i just got the truck limo tinted, and im lookin to get rainguards. first off what brands do you find last ? i work at a dealer and the ones we have turn purple after a while, im thinkin gt styling or somthing? what are some good brands that last? also which style do you prefer? i had the ones that go in the window channel but i took em off when i got the truck cuz they were cracked. so i dont know how good they seal or what not. so in channel or stick on?

i prefer in-channel. i got Lund brand from here. he has several brands.

jk...I've seen some in the LMC catalog. Heck, I've even seen Stainless Steel or chromed rainguards.

 

Auto Vent Shade!@#??? I think is the name of the brand that I've had before. Whatever the brand is that comes in the yellow packaging at Auto Zone and some of the other auto parts stores. I put some on an F-150 about 6 years ago and they still look good and black. No discoloration and the double sided tape has held up over all of the years with not problems at all. I bought mine from a friend who bought some for his truck and then decided not to use them so he sold them to me for like $15; that was a great deal. I've been wanting to get some for my Ram and I eventually will; other things just have a priority right now I suppose.I suggest that brand.

 

VentShade is the one to use, and that is who the dealerships use most of the time.

 

theres a guy with badass ones im trying to find i remeber seeing them, he has like 2.5 tint too, hold on im looking for the pic.

 

arghh, i cant find it. he has a white ram, and i think there called bubble guards but im not sure, they come over the window a good bit down near the mirror, can anyone help me find the pics on here, or the brand/type of guard it is?

are extended cab and reg cab doors the same length? the bubble guards only say regular cab. will they fit mine? i got the ext cab
