Default Issues w/ Tranny Cooler Install--Done w/ Pics

I ordered the TCI 6-pass cooler from Jegs, but it's not working out. I understand what needs to happen, so that's not the issue.[8D]

Problem is, I don't think it came with everything I need. From what I see, I need two of the metal connectors that have male/female ends, and it only came with one.

I need one to screw onto the radiator return fitting and one to hook to the metal return line back to the tranny. And the one it came with doesn't even mount on the factory fittings...it's too small. Can I buy these somewhere else?

EDIT: I got it done. Got a tubing cutter for $5 from Lowe's and just cut a section out of the metal return line. No leaks, had to add about 1/2 - 3/4 qt of fluid...must have been a bit low. Here's the pics:

I am trying to picture this in my head...I think if I remember correctly, on my father's 98, the trans shop just used rubber hose and clamps to connect it to the metal pipe...

maybe. you've got a couple options. your best bet on fittings would be the plumbing section of hardware or plumbing supply store. your other option is to cut the old fittings off the old hardlines, and just connect your 3/8" hose over the line, and double clamp it. that's what i did.
i cut the old hardline with a standard tubing cutter.

I think I will just take the part I have and look around eveyrwhere I can to see if I find two of them in the size I need. If not, my best option would be to just cut the metal portion of the return line in half anddouble clamp each connection like you said. Guess that's part of using universal add-ons...

Not really...but it helps even if you don't tow a lot. Dropping the tranny fluid temp even a few degrees can drastically increase its life span. And for about $40, why not?[8D]

I think I have decided to just cut a section out of the metal return line and clamp the hoses on...why not, right? I'm gonna do a fluid drain/filter change/drain plug install soon, so I'll make a complete job with the tranny cooler.[8D] Thanks for the responses...
