hmmm I like how this is heating up, lol.

Well I have no skills, in fact I really don't want to touch the case of an automatic transmission much less gut into one. So it was just a wild hair idea.

What all does a **** kit entail?

Doubt it. The 47/48RE is HUGE. Bell housing and converter are much bigger.
I'm not saying it is impossible but it wouldn't be easy.
