if i wasnt at a military school and had a job i would but im here and the same s.o.b. that tried to impound it for me checkin the oil in the parkin lot is havin a feild day with this[sm=shootshoot.gif]

ok so i was thinkin about my truck today in class and i really dont want to junk it so i found these engine on craigslist can yall tell me which ones would be the best for me to do im extremely limited on funds and i dont even know if the slant 6 will work but any help is appriciated

i would take this as a learning opportunity. The trucks already dead, go pull your oil pan off, intake manifold and heads and see what happened.

i was thinkin about doin that what about in the mean time gettin that 1st gen ram just to have as a dd i know that some of people hide probs behind a bad starter

If you're really interested in the 84, here's what you do. Tell the guy that you're bringing over a used starter to test it with, there are lots of $20 starters available in florida on www.car-parts.com. You can install the starter in about 10 minutes with just a couple tools. If the truck runs nice and you're comfortable with it, make an offer. If not and if you can't return the starter, don't let him keep it unless he pays you what you paid for it, your only out $20 and you've prevented yourself from buying a money pit.

Not sure. If you have the 318 or 360 Magnum in both trucks it should work. If they are not both the Magnum engine I doubt it.
