Default Engine check light?

Can anyone help me with the above.It has suddenely come on.There has been no change in performance,and every thing sounds ok.I have been using LPG the last couple of day instead of regular gas.Can this effect it.

Thanks for any advice given.

dont know if that would affect the check engine light or not but there could be a lot of things when it comes on that is wrong....take it to autozone or a parts store and they will check the codes for you to see what made it come on...just cause it runs ok doesnt mean there isnt anything wrong...so have them hook up the code reader!!!

I disagree.....the auto zone and pep boys near me charge $70 to scan diags.....Just buy your own scanner, one of the best investments you'll make, its prob an O2 sensor

Advanced auto, Autozone, will read it for free... if your unsure about the results... post it back here... maybe it can be figured out here or at least give you a direction to start looking.
