I took out two headliners Caravan and Dakota, and let the pro redo it for about 135 and 60 respectively. Then I installed them. BUT you are supposed to do in in July so you can sweat like a pig. They basically wanted around 400 for the job and I was too cheap to do it.

I just did that this fall. Took down the old headliner, peeled off the old fabric (leaving on the foam) then glued on new felt in a matching color. I used the 3m super trim adhesive. It looks great. The secret is to use lots of the spray glue in layers that alternate in direction. Also make sure to let the glue get tacky before the next layer. When you finally have enough layers then roll your new felt into a wide roll. Roll the fabric over the contours of the headliner and smooth it out as you go. When your done fold the extra fabric over the back of the headliner and glue and duct tape it down. Cost- $6 for fabric, $6 for glue and 1 hour work plus 2 hours drying time.
