No my truck is not a joke. It's a Dodge truck like your own, but with a heavier suspension and drive train. The mega cab design creates more comfort for my family when we tow our 16,000 lbs. fifth wheel camper. Of the many trips we have taken, we traveled 5000 miles on a 3 week trip to Yellowstone and back home again. We were comfortable and confident in the truck's reliability. At a cat scale, the truck, camper, 85 gallons of fuel and 4 passengers, the weight came in at 26,660 lbs. That's what I built this truck up for, long distance towing, in comfort. To date, I have over $16,000.00 worth of upgrades, and now in the process of dropping another $5500.00 on 19.5 Weld's Racing Rims and G rated Commercial tires. So no, my ride is no joke, and I rather like it.
Also, I've given nothing but praise to Silver_Dodge and Littlefoot's trucks. We all have outstanding rides here, even yours.
Silver_Dodge, thanks for the compliment on the transmission. It was a very expensive upgrade, but well worth it. I can pump up my Edge/Attitude programmer up to the extreme level, and smoke those 4 rear tires with 425 hp. Never had a hint of transmission slippage. Peace of mind!
I know it's not over yet, but Congradulations on winning the April TOTM! You have a awesome truck and the pride shine thru!
All the best.........Riv
