hey all removed my cupholder to repair it after i pulled it out i noticed a cover w/ 2 screws holding it on, after taking it off i found a plug/connector . dont need to know just curious , whats it connected to?

The cover underneath the cupholder, with a big red plug and a crazy latch+clip setup so that the connector can't possibly come undone byitself? That's your airbag module. Don't kick it. Lol

it could be the 12v power plug thing thats right there next to the cupholder. you know the cigarette lightert that isnt a cigarette lighter

i agree im bettin its the 12 power source for the cigarette lighter that supposed to be right in that same general area

Its definitely your 12V accessory outlet. I pulled my dash apart to swap decks and I had to unclip both of my 12v converters. The clip should look like a "T" if i am not mistaken........

its a 99 i dont think its the 12v sounds more like what froesen said i'll try to go out and get a pic havent figured out how to post pics yet but i'll try...... looks like your ahead silver good luck
