Default Body lift question

whats the nicest, biggest body lift you can buy for a 97-99 dodge ram 1500 4wd without going into suspension?? pelase help meeeeeee

try autopartswarehouse.com. They have all of your non suspension related lifts. You would have to go with something like blocks in the kit. Not sure. Depends on how high you want to get your truck.

I'm no expert but i gather that you don't realy want to go any higher than 3" somthing about wires and /or angles of mechanical stuff.
Why do you want to go body vers suspension though?

I agree with ^^^^. Performance Accessories are the best BL's. 3" is the max.

You can go 4 inches custom.. but 3 inch is the biggest you can find retail.. But you still end up with a few wires that need extended... I have custom 4inch and I had to extend wires..cut shifter holes..

whats the deal with the shifter mod? do you extend it or what? ive never looked at it. im planing to do a bodylift but its my dd so downtime is crucial?

Not sure on a automatic.. But on my 5sp.. I had to cut the shifter hole bigger.. so it would shift and not hit the floor..
if automatic's use cable shift.. shouldnt be a big deal.. but I dont really know
