Thats actually something I've thought about. I have heard a little about the POR 15 or whatever stuff but know nothing about it. Is it something you put in a spray gun and spray on or do you brush it on? I'm actually thinking about doing something like that.

I was thinking the same thing.

 

I believe that's the same color as mine: the Patriot Blue Metallic coat.

If it's overcast out the Blue is pretty deep almost a Navy color. When it's bright and sunny (and clean) the metal flakes will really pop in it. Down here when the red clay dust gets kicked up, if it sits on the truck it'll turn it a deep purple color, so I wash mine often.

I got to thinking and was thinking of maybe painting the inside honeycomb of the grill. I was wondering if you guys thought it would look good if I painted the honeycomb part the same color blue as the truck and left the outside chrome? I can't decide if I want to attempt it but I think it would look cool. I still can't believe how great my shocks turned out looking. It has me wanting to paint more on the truck.

 

Just for ****s and giggles, I was thinking of trying red.

 

I don't know about red but I'm thinking the color of the truck would look cool. I've never seen it done either. I want to see how my new all chrome grill I ordered looks and then decide if I want to do it.
