Trick to getting air filter box clamp snug?
Is there some kind of trick to getting the air filter box to fit correctly over the gasket and onto the throttle body? I fiddled around with it for a good 30 minutes but could not get it snug all the way around.

Well itis kinda explain but take and back the clamp almost all the way out. Then put it around the intake an start to turn in. there are slots where it is supposed to be aligned in. and tighten it up, jus make sure u check it as u go. nd you should be all good.

So the clamp needs to be aligned horizontally?!
the clamp has slots cut into it that need to match the TB neck.. you'll see the slots are cut to fit around certain areas of the TB where its thicker or theres a raised area on the TB neck.. so the clamp must sit so these cut outs are in the right place...now.. that being said.. I've had times where mine just fought me to the point that i did this.
take the clamp off completely.. take the air box off completely.....go to advanced and buy an Edelbrock round cleaner for like 26 bucks....and install in like 2 minutes....
